First time at this office and I have to say, staff and Dr. Cheuvront were amazing. From front desk receptionist who was very helpful, kind and cute to Dr who explained procedure step by step. I couldn’t recommend Dr shea enough. He is wonderful, I heard horror stories about root canals, I was eating 1 hour later and no pain or swelling. His staff was so sweet and kind, he checks on all his patients even after hours. I had the best experience even with the circumstance of getting a root canal! 100 percent recommend. Even my little one said “they were so nice mommy” and that’s saying a lot! Thanks so much for my care.
I had a root canal today with Dr. Shea Cheuvront, and I cannot recommend him and his office highly enough. From the moment I walked into the building, his front office staff was friendly, his dental assistant then took me back and started explaining what was going to happen, I hope she knows how much that eased my fears. Dr. Cheuvront was kind and caring, putting me at ease right away. He showed me my x-rays, explained what was going on with my tooth and what needed to be done to fix it. The entire procedure was smooth, and to my surprise, I felt no pain at all. They even made sure I took ibuprofen before I left to ward off any pain. Dr. Cheuvront truly goes above and beyond for his patients — he just called to follow up with me at 8 p.m. tonight to make sure I was doing okay with what he had done today. His attention to detail, his kindness, his explanations and genuine care for his patients make him an outstanding Endodontist.
I was referred to Dr. Shea by my dentist for a possible root canal. I was nervous as I always am of any dental procedure. Dr. Shea and his staff made me feel very comfortable. He explains in great detail what he is going to do step by step and his assistant, Jill, has you watch a video as well. During the procedure Dr. Shea talks you through it as well as making sure you are ok and pain free. He also has a gentle touch when giving the shot for numbing. His manner is so compassionate that you do feel safe and trusting of him. He and his staff truly care about their patients. I have never had a Dr. call me at home the evening of the procedure to check on me personally. He also called again a week later to verify how I was doing. I just can't say enough good about the Dr. and all of his staff. They are very knowledgeable, professional and so compassionate even if they are having a stressful, busy day. I highly recommend Dr. Shea.
When I walked in I had finished a full night shift of work and was totally scared to even start and I’m 49! Well everyone from beginning to end made me feel so comfortable. I even go sang to most places don’t so this to make patients feel comfortable and everyone seemed to love their jobs. Absolutely 💯 I can say I’ll be back if I ever need anything or anyone in my family. Bc they done my husband root canal about two months ago same perfect treatment. I had a root canal on August 15, 2024. I was nervous about the procedure because I had heard scary things. It was nothing like that! Dr Shea Cheuvront and Ashley took excellent care of me. They talked me through the procedure step by step. Not painful at all. Dr Shea even called me at 7:30 pm that evening to check on me! What doctor does that these days? I highly recommend them!
I've had dental work done in a lot of places as an adult, but I've had the best experience in this office receiving a root canal. From the front of the office to the dental chair, I couldn't have asked for a better crew to take care of my painful tooth. Absolutely amazing experience for my first root canal. I was nervous because I had never had one before. He and the staff went over everything and were so kind and professional. He made sure I was comfortable while doing the procedure and called to check on me that night to make sure I was healing well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
Dr. Cheuvront and his staff were incredible during an overly painful experience. My head felt like a basketball that had been dribbled down 27, so I had to visit in an emergency situation. The staff worked me into their schedule quickly. Dr. Cheuvront was thorough in communicating during each step and was very straightforward when I might experience discomfort. However, he did such a great job numbing the area there was very little discomfort. I felt immediate relief to the pain I had experienced. To top it off, Dr. Cheuvront and his staff both made themselves available the next day to ensure I was recovering properly. If the need arises for you to need an endo look no further. Dr. Cheuvront and his team were the best!

My experience here was nothing short of impressive. I love how they all seemed to care so much about what was going on with their patients. I was also impressed with the Dr explaining everything that he was doing throughout the whole procedure. It made a stressful problem much less overwhelming for me.
I recently had three root canals done at Lake Cumberland Endodnotics. Dr. Shea and his staff are wonderful at what they do! Dr. Shea is so good at explaining the procedures, and the after care you receive is phenomenal. He truly is the best Endodontist.

My experience here was great! Here’s my review: I was running late, and then I got lost, and everyone was patient and kind toward me despite that. They helped me find the office, which was a bit of a trick!The staff was very courteous and cordial, professional yet personable. I really appreciated their kind, respectful manner.The doctor was very careful to explain everything in simple terms, and had a light touch when giving me the shot to numb my mouth. He worked quickly while making sure I was doing OK with each step of the procedure.I had been in a lot of pain and discomfort, and all that has been taken care of! I’m so glad that I was referred to them and look forward to going back to do the rest of the work!

I have been to Lake Cumberland Endodontics a few times now for root canal procedures and have yet to find a bad thing to say. Dr. Shea and the staff are all phenomenal. Dr. Shea does a great job explaining everything and checking on you throughout the procedure (and afterwards). You’re really not going to find a better place or people to take care of your endodontic needs.
I have never been to a dentist that was as good as Dr. Shea and his staff were. They treated my dental fears so calmly and made me feel so good about going into the process. If I could see him for every dental need, I seriously would. He was phenomenal.

I came here on referral from another dentist, as my root canal had hit a "bump" in the process (quite literally), and the dentist wasn't quite sure how to continue. I recently had a root canal done at Lake Cumberland Endodontics and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I've had at a dental office. I was an ABSOLUTE NERVOUS WRECK prior to going in for my appointment. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile from the friendly staff. They made me feel right at home and helped me relax before my appointment.
Dr. Shea, who performed my procedure was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the process to me. He was also very patient and gentle, which made the procedure much more comfortable than I had anticipated. Dr. Shea is very purposeful when providing care.

I had a great experience yesterday. My procedure was more intense than me or Dr. Cheuvront anticipated, my tooth needing the root canal was under a bridge. The procedure was still much better than past experiences I’ve had. Very friendly staff & a very caring & knowledgeable doctor made my experience better than I ever expected. The pain during the procedure was minimal & is still minimal today. Job well done!

Extremely nice and caring staff. Doctor Cheuvront was so kind and really cares about your comfort. I drove 3 hours for my appointment because of how highly he was recommended and I gladly would again. I had a root canal done and did not feel a single thing. He even called to check on me later the same day after office hours. Five stars doesn’t even compare to how awesome they were! I highly recommend!
Five stars wouldn’t do the experience any justice. Beyond 5 stars, from the phone call to schedule the appointment to the exit out the door when it’s over and everything in between. Have had several appointments, they have all been great!
As a dental hygienist, I want only the best quality working on my smile. I had a cracked tooth from grinding my teeth and needed a root canal treatment. Dr. Cheuvront was very professional and personable from beginning to end. Dr. Cheuvront’s work is exceptional! AND… it was NOT painful or scary. Trust him with your teeth & save your smile!

I’m a reoccurring patient of Lake Cumberland Endodontics. Dr.Cheuvront and his staff have always been personable and empathetic to the concerns of their patients. I truly believe they are committed to helping people. If you have to get a root canal, I highly recommend this office. They make a terrible situation “not so bad” and I’m thankful for that!
I went yesterday for my first root canal and I was terrified. From the moment I walked through the door till the second it was over Dr.Cheuvront and his staff made sure I was relaxed and gave me the best experience possible. Cheuvront told me everything I was about to feel before he did and cracked jokes that kept me at ease the whole time. I left telling everyone I’d get a “life canal” from that man if those existed. He even called me that night to check on me, I’ve never had that happen after a dental procedure. I could not recommend Lake Cumberland Endodontics enough. You’ll be in fantastic hands if you choose them.

It is said there is always room for improvement- but I don’t see where that would be for this dental practice! They have great concern for patient comfort. I have had 2 root canals here and both times the result has been perfect. The first glimpse I had of the Dr Shea was when I pulled into the parking lot and he was assisting an elderly patient using a walker into her car- that says a lot.
Dr. Cheuvront has the best bed-side manner of any doctor I have seen. He and his staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. He even makes follow-up calls just to check and see if you are okay. I did not have any pain at any time. If you need endodontic work I highly recommend Lake Cumberland Endodontics!

However, Dr. Cheuvront and his staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease from start to finish. The procedure went so smoothly. I was sent to Dr. Cheuvront by my dentist to take a look at a problematic tooth. After trying one more procedure he suggested the root canal. I have huge dental anxiety and they took such good care of me, explaining every move he made to lessen my anxieties. I was very well numbed and there was zero pain. They're fast and efficient and even called to check on me twice once I was home. You can trust them and I would highly recommend him and his staff.
I had a bad experience with a previous root canal that I had done. Next time I chose to go to Somerset and that was the best decision I could have ever made. The staff are so friendly. Dr. Cheuvront explains everything he sees on the x-ray so you understand it. As he does the procedure he is explaining every detail. Best part, there was no pain and that evening he followed up to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend him and his staff.
